$15 Million Bounty for Ransomware Group
The US Department of State is offering up to $15 million for information that helps identify and locate members of Conti ransomware group. Conti is high on the FBI’s radar, as they estimate the group has attacked a thousand victims with payouts exceeding $150 million, making it the costliest strain of ransomware ever documented.
IKEA Suffers Data Breach
The company notified Canada’s privacy watchdog and its customers that personal information for approximately 95,000 customers was made available in searches performed by an employee from IKEA Canada early in March. IKEA confirmed that no financial or banking information was involved in the breach.
OpenSea’s Discord compromised
The world’s largest NFT marketplace had its Discord channel compromised Thursday night by a scammer promoting a fake NFT mint, that claimed to be in collaboration with YouTube. The victims of the phishing attack lost appositely $18k worth of NFTs.
