BidenCash Leaks 2M Cards
A dark web marketplace that sells stolen credit card information leaked a database containing over 2 million debit and credit cards. BidenCash normally sells this information, but it was done for free in celebration of its 1st anniversary. Some of the cards in this batch may be expired, but personal information for cardholders such as names, emails, phone numbers and home addresses are still exposed. This opens them up to scams, identity theft and phishing attacks from threat actors. Most of the card information is for people from the US, Mexico, China and the UK.
Chick-fil-A Breach
Chick-fil-A has confirmed that over 71,000 of their online customers had their accounts hacked over the course of a few months. The threat actors purchased items using the rewards balances and also sold the accounts with higher balances. These accounts were hacked using credentials stolen in other attacks, which means these customers used the same password for multiple sites.
Dish Network Ransomware
Late in February, Dish Network suffered outages on its website, mobile app, and other services. After disclosing it was a VPN problem, the company has since confirmed the outage was caused by a ransomware attack. The incident is being investigated, but it is believed that personal information for various parties may have been compromised.
