LAPSUS$ hit Globant
The IT and Software Development company which operates in many countries worldwide is the latest victim of LAPSUS$, as they published 70GB of data from Globant. Subsequently, Globant confirmed that the leaked information was limited to source code and project-related documentation for a limited number of clients. They stated that neither their internal systems nor their clients were accessed during the breach.
Shutterfly swatted by Conti
The Conti Ransomware group recently added the online photography products, and image sharing company to their list of victims in December. The company confirmed that an attacker accessed their network and deployed ransomware on their systems, stealing documents with a variety of employee information. As a result, the company is offering employees two years of free credit monitoring from Equifax.
Phishing NATO & EU
The Google Threat Analysis Group (TAG) is warning NATO and the European military that it has observed government-backed actors from China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia are using the war as a lure in phishing and malware campaigns. TAG has also noticed that threat actors are using the current events to execute financially motivated attacks. TAG aims to bring awareness to these types of attacks, so users and organizations can protect themselves.
