Ticketmaster Breach Affects 560m
Ticketmaster confirmed the company suffered a breach via a 3rd party cloud storage provider (Snowflake) in late May. The threat actor, known as Shiny Hunters, stole 1.3TB of information including personal information for 560 million customers, by hacking a Snowflake’s employee account.
Cooler Master Confirms Hack
The computer hardware manufacturer confirmed they suffered a data breach in late May. A threat actor known as Ghostr compromised the company’s warranty and support website to steal 103 GB of data containing personal information for over half a million customers. Cooler Master is investigating the incident as the stolen data was posted for sale on the dark web.
Shell Investigates Hack Claim
Threat actors have posted a database containing 80 thousand records claiming to belong to the oil and gas giant Shell. The records contain personal information for people from various countries worldwide. The company has not confirmed the incident but is investigating the claim.
